Tomorrow is orange shirt day!
From the SFSD Office of Indian Education:
What is Orange Shirt Day?
Saturday September 30th, 2023 is Orange shirt day which began in Canada in 2013. It promotes awareness about the history of American Indian and Native Residential boarding school systems which still impact Native American and First Nations communities in the United States and Canada. The day honors the children who were removed from their families and forced into boarding schools and remembers those who never returned home.
You may see students wearing Orange shirts on Friday Sept. 29th or Saturday, September 30th, 2023, in observation of Orange Shirt day. Please join them if you wish…because EVERY CHILD MATTERS!

This is tonight!

211 went outside to investigate habitats. 😊

Congratulations to Kelsey Brenna and Madison Hage for each receiving a $200 First Time Teacher Grant from the Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation.

Fourth Grade RF/CC enjoyed the DAPA play, "What's the difference" and it was about differences of people and bullying.

Congratulations to the 2023-2024 RF/CC student council members!
