In 2nd and 3rd Grade Challenge Center classrooms, the students have just started book clubs! In each classroom, a visible learning progression helps the students stay on track with their learning. They read their weekly assignment and create thick and thin questions about the texts which they will discuss in their group each week. It is so fun to see their growth and visible learning!

Robert Frost/Challenge Center is hosting a Color Run on Monday, May 19th. The run starts at 1:15.
The program aims to go beyond the traditional fundraising methods of selling goods, aiming instead to engage students, their family members, and neighbors in a fitness initiative that promotes a life-long, healthy way of living. All of the proceeds will go toward purchasing new playground equipment, extra field trips for students, and supplies in our teachers’ classrooms.
RF/CC students are gathering pledges from friends, family, and neighbors in the community. More information will come about pledges in May. However, this year families are invited to volunteer during the Color Run. This is a great way to get involved, support our students, and be part of the fun! Whether you're helping at a color station, handing out water, or cheering on the runners, your participation will make this event even more special. Sign up to volunteer and join the excitement! To receive a T-shirt click on the link. (RF/CC students do not need to purchase a tshirt, they will receive one at school)
