"What a game! 🏀🎉 Yesterday, we held our first-ever Student vs. Teacher basketball game, and it was a huge success! It was a close battle, but in the end, the teachers pulled off the win. A huge thank you to everyone who played, watched, and cheered—especially our former students who came back to support and even provide game commentary. The energy was incredible, and we can't wait to do it again!"

This past weekend, 9 BRMS band students represented BRMS at MS All State Band in Mitchell, SD. These students had the opportunity to play among some of the best middle school musicians in the state under the direction of 2 stellar conductors. Keep up the great work BRMS band students!

Happy Social Worker Week!
In the Sioux Falls School District, every student's journey is unique. For many of the kids we serve, our school social workers are there every step of the way! Whether offering a listening ear, connecting families to resources, or advocating for students' well-being, their dedication ignites hope and creates lasting impact in our schools.
This year's theme, Unite to Ignite: Celebrating Our Impact, is a perfect reflection of how our social workers bring people together to create brighter futures for students.
THANK YOU to our incredible school social workers for your compassion and care!

This week, BRMS Wind Ensemble performed at a Large Group Band Contest hosted by Jefferson High School. Students performed 3 pieces and received feedback from nationally recognized band clinicians. The Wind Ensemble will use this positive feedback to further develop the skills necessary to play at a high level. We are so proud of how well they performed and their positive representation of BRMS.
