📚Renberg read a total of 324,115 pages this school year!!!!!!📚 🍧To celebrate, every student got a snow cone from Dakota Snow. 🍧 Staff at Renberg are very proud of all the reading that has taken place throughout the school year. Way to go Bobcats!🐱

On Monday, May 16, Renberg students helped the Sioux Falls School District celebrate and close out it's 150th year of educating students in Sioux Falls. With the help of our Community Relations staff (DeeAnn Konrad and Ben Schumacher) we made the number 150 with our students and staff. The picture was taken using a drone and the students were so excited to see it flying over the Renberg playground and field.

Renberg had Field Day on Thursday, May 12. We had a great time with all the activities Mr. Zangara planned for the morning. Thankfully the weather cooperated!

Renberg 4th graders studied South Dakota History this year. They recently finished a project on Mt Rushmore. Students were given the assignment to choose who they would like to have on Mt Rushmore and why. They then drew Mt Rushmore with the faces of the people they chose. Students worked hard and did a great job!

Renberg’s 3rd grade students created beautiful art in Mrs. Bleeker’s Art class. Their artwork brightened up the hallway with vibrant colors and imaginative designs!

On Wednesday, Mrs. Becker's 1st grade class spent time outside cleaning up our flower and plant beds. They worked hard removing sticks and debri that had accumulated during the winter. A big thank you to 101 for helping our school look beautiful!

Yesterday, Renberg staff celebrated our 3 teachers who received grants from the Sioux Falls Education Foundation. Mrs. Reavis, Librarian, received grant money to purchase robotics and coding material for the library. Mrs. Anderson, 3rd grade, and Mr. Nemmers (5th grade) wrote a grant together for materials and manipulatives to enhance instruction for fractions. Congratulations to our teachers and a big thank you to the Sioux Falls Education Foundation!

Superintendent Jane Stavem hosted nearly 50 future educators Tuesday for "Bagels with the Boss." Student teachers currently working in SFSD classrooms joined us to learning about job opportunities, hear about the support offered by the District's Instructional Coaches, and connect with leadership. We look forward to adding many of these new teachers to our team in the Fall!
