March is here!! 🍀 Check out the Oscar Howe Newsletter for March

From March 1-22, help us create a downpour of books by adding a raindrop to our sky for each book your child reads or someone reads to them. They should be coming home with a reading tracker on Friday to track the number of books read. Please have your child record any books they read and bring the list with them on their library day. They will get to hang a raindrop for every book they read. This is a cooperation between the City of Sioux Falls, Siouxland Public Libraries, and Sioux Falls School District. The goal for the entire program is 300,000 books. Our Oscar Howe Goal is 9,500 books!! Let's get reading!

Meet the Riders!
Several players from the Varsity RHS basketball team stopped in this morning to visit with students and promote their upcoming events. They would love to see future riders at their events.

Let us introduce you to Aj Schoeberl or to the students, "Miss Aj"
My name is Aj. I am the new clerical at Oscar Howe and I am looking forward to getting to know the students and their families, along with the staff at Oscar Howe.
A little tidbit about myself and my family 🙂
My husband, Rich, and I have 2 sons, Jacob and Ben. Our oldest son, Jacob, was married this past fall and has a beautiful stepdaughter , Emersyn. She enjoys all things 3 years love to do. Our youngest son, Ben, is a teacher at Rustic Acres Colony, he teaches 5 - 8th graders.
We started a feral kitten rescue 8 years ago and have rescued over 60 kittens. Although this can be stressful at times, it has been very rewarding.
Rich and Jacob race 4 wheelers, when we are not racing, we enjoy camping.
Looking forward to finishing the school year getting to know all of you!!!
