Everybody Reads! Jefferson students and staff logged 920 books from March 1-22 as part of the community-wide reading initiative. A total of 318,617 books were read by the Sioux Falls community.

State testing for juniors in English, math, & science is April 2-4. Proficiency guarantees entry to SD public colleges, and may exempt students from semester tests their senior year. Students not testing will have an alternative schedule. See email for more information.

Last Friday, students had an empowering day at INSPIRE, a STEM event for girls! 23 bright minds from JHS explored thrilling engineering careers and connected with industry professionals through engaging workshops at USD Sioux Falls.





The Cavalier Boys will face Mitchell in round 1 of State! To allow students and staff to attend the game, JHS will have an early release on Thursday, March 14th. School will be dismissed at 11:30 AM. Grab and go lunches will be available after 7th period. #GoCavsGo
