Today, Mrs Kruger's chemistry students learned about the factors that affect the rate of a chemical reaction. They used magnetic and glass marbles to show different types of reactants, and threw them to create products of chemical reactions.

Congratulations to the Girls Basketball Team for their Friday night win over Watertown to advance to the State Tournament. The Cavaliers will take on the Pierre Governors Thursday afternoon at the Sanford Pentagon. JHS will have a shortened school schedule on Thursday. #GoCavs



With their overtime win against Rapid City Stevens on Saturday, the Cavaliers earned their spot at State! Save the date for State Boys Basketball! Jefferson will face Mitchell at Noon on March 14th at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. More information to come.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of the one-act play! They received a Superior Play Award, and Superior Tech Award at the State One Act Play Festival on February 1-3. Zander Dziedzic, Riley Galer, Katarina Jefferies, and AJ Venekamp also received Superior Acting Awards.

Mrs. Hakari showed up to a teacher-staff meeting yesterday expecting it to be another regular staff meeting, but was surprised with an award, some funds for her classroom, and free McCafe!
