In Science, 5th grade students demonstrate how far apart the stars in the constellation, Pegasus, are positioned in space. (They used centimeters, rather than light years.)
They are investigating the focus question: “Where are the stars in space, and how far from Earth are they?”

In drama, 5th graders participated in a team building lesson inspired by the book, "The Color Collector”. The goal was to learn about theme (the central topic or message) in stories and plays.

Back in the fall of 2007, Helen and Johnathan were new kindergarteners at EFA+.
Now they are seniors at Washington University in St. Louis and will graduate in the spring of 2024.

Students in 301 used their People Smart, Nature Smart, and Math Smart skills to figure out groups. This activity helps prepare the 3rd graders for multiplication.



K01 students found inspiration through poetry and fun with "magic" play dough.
