
Ben Reifel turned pink yesterday, for Barbie day, to celebrate Homecoming Week. We loved seeing how creative students got while dressing up.

The BRMS Bison Marching Band will perform this Saturday, October 7th at the Festival of Bands parade near Covell Lake & Terrace Park. We would love the support of our BRMS community when we step-off in the parade route at 9:40am! We can't wait to see everyone there.

Congrats to Bryce and Sawyer Thompson. These BRMS students have been competing for the WHS Varsity Golf team this fall. They qualified for the state golf tournament which will take place Monday and Tuesday at the Brandon Golf Course. We are proud of you!


Thank you to Promising Futures for giving our 8th grade football team the opportunity to visit South Dakota State University this weekend. Players had a tour of the campus, lunch, and attended the game. We appreciate these continued opportunities given to our Bison students. ❤️

Congratulations to the 14 students from BRMS who were accepted into the Sioux Falls Middle School All-City Band! This band is made up from 10 different middle schools across the city. The All-City Band will perform a concert at the Washington Pavilion in November with band ensembles from Augustana University!

The rain didn't stop cross country students from practicing. We are so proud of how hard they have been working this season! Keep it up!




Students on team 6-2 explored caves in social studies today. Mrs. Brackey dressed up to guide them on the adventure through her room.


Students have been enjoying a variety of Enrichment classes. Last week, students in Mrs.Krdzallic's class have been creating unique coasters using rhinestones. They've also been building social skills throughout their time. We love that our students are able to dedicate time to some of their passions and hobbies.





Students began enrichment during Bison Academy yesterday. Teachers have planned a variety of activities including sign language, business and marketing, and photography.



Eighth grade football boys are off to a scrimmage tonight. Best of luck! We will be cheering you on. GO BISON!
