6th grade Accelerated students used real menus to "order" items, calculate the subtotal, tax, tip, and total bill. Students are currently working on percent increase and decrease problems, so it's a great real-world way to practice what we are learning!

We are so proud of the 10 BRMS band students who were selected and performed this past weekend in Mitchell, SD for the SD MS All State Band! This is an experience we know these students will remember forever.
Congratulations to the Ben Reifel Archery club! Yesterday they participated in the Tri Valley Archery tournament. Archer Lexi Maag placed 5th overall in the 3D shot and 2nd in Bullseye target. Congratulations to all the archers for their hard work! Go Bison! ❤️

The Bison Dance group participated in the Middle School Dance Showcase tonight at Ben Reifel. We are so proud of all the hard work that was put into preparing. Way to go girls!

Yesterday, three of our fantastic Education Assistants painted the library windows in support of Everybody Reads. This initiative partners local Libraries with the SFSD to promote reading. The theme this year is "Rain or Shine, Everybody Reads". Thank you to Melissa, Michelle and Danielle for lending our building your talents! We can't wait to see how many books get read by our Bison students this year.

Recently, the Ben Reifel band had the opportunity to play with the Washington High School Pep Band at the Warriors Basketball game. The Dance team also performed at the halftime! Way to go everyone! ❤️
