The Lincoln HS color guard has been widely acclaimed one of the best in the country for much of the last five years, and they're looking for YOU to join! If you're a future Lincoln student, check this out!
Audition rehearsals to help students get an introduction to color guard and learn technique begin tomorrow night at Lincoln HS from 6-8pm, with the audition taking place next week on Tuesday. If you have to miss one of the days, that is okay! And you do not have to be in band to join the color guard -- in fact, students outside of band are encouraged to join!

On March 6th, several of our 8th grade girls were able to join the Pizza, Pop & Power Tools field trip. They participated in hands-on activities led by the National Association of Women in Construction, ate pizza, and toured the CTE Academy. 🛠️ What a 'constructive' opportunity! #WhittierInTheWild

Our music students will also be busy on Thursday with the Whittier Roadshow ensemble tour of elementary schools. Last week, The Outdoor Campus visited Whittier's 7th grade science classes to help students make connections to real-world science topics. Topics included biodiversity of species in South Dakota and animal adaptations. Two additional guests, Wally the turtle and Roxy the snake, made for an extra exciting visit! #CreativityInTheClassroom
