Every Student, Every Day
Here at Whitter attendance matters. We want to see every student, every day possible, but too often absences – excused and unexcused – can add up quickly and lead to academic trouble. Missing 10% of the school year, or 2-3 days each month, can translate into younger students missing critical reading skills, middle school students failing courses, and high school students dropping out.
FACT: Over 8 million U.S. students miss nearly a month of school each year.
