We had 83 outstanding teachers from across the Sioux Falls School District nominated for the 37th Annual Dr. John W. Harris Teacher of the Year Award! Of those 83, five individuals have been chosen as finalists for the award!
The finalists are:
+ Jennifer Aerts | Horace Mann Elementary
+ Scott Amundson | Lincoln High School
+ Bryan Aukerman | Washington High School
+ Jessica Foley | Terry Redlin Elementary
+ Bruce Rekstad | Washington High School
The final recipient of the award will be named at the annual Teacher of the Year Award Ceremony on Monday, February 24th, 2025, at 7 pm. The ceremony will be held at Ben Reifel Middle School and will be available to livestream (link coming soon).
