Red Oak Drive is NOW OPEN and you can proceed with your normal route for picking up your student! Thank you.
As of 1:40pm on 9/7/23, turning left onto Red Oak Dr. is blocked off by the City. Attached is a map we are requesting you follow to assist with getting you onto Red Oak Dr safely to pick up your students. We have worked very hard to not have parents turn Left into the parking from the opposite direction so please know that is not an option today either. We will have law enforcement here to assist with traffic. It is possible, the barricade will be moved by the time school is out but as of right now, please follow the attached map. I will send a follow up message if it changes before the end of the day.

All students in grades 1-5 will take their school pictures Tuesday September 5th. If a kindergartener did not get their picture taken at their open house, they will also get a picture taken tomorrow. Picture packets were available at open house or were sent home the first days of school. Retakes will be in October.

The spirit wear store is open till Sept 10th. All spirit wear will be delivered to Rosa Parks about three weeks after the store closes.

The Power of Partnership is highlighted, once again, to help SFSD families get connected to affordable internet. The SF Area Community Foundation is investing $50,000 to enroll households in the Affordable Connectivity Program (AFP). SD Voices for Peace leads the effort.
Voices for Peace is working with SFSD schools to inform families of this program. An enrollment specialist will continue to meet families during school events like parent-teacher conferences, success nights, etc. Eligible families should enroll today! GetInternet.gov
