Here is Rosa Parks Staff Spotlights!

Each month we work for a ROAR ticket total. This month we were hoping for 25,000. We made it over 27,000! We played BINGO school wide as a reward!

Good Morning-
There is still time to sign up for Cultural Day! May 21st there are two different sessions; 8:30-10:30 and 12:00-2:00!
Staff and Parents signed up this week to do:
Making tortillas from scratch, Learn how to make pizzas and run a business, Story-telling with traditional foods, Game (left right center), Spanish Karaoke Songs, Augie dance/cheer, Clown Face Painting (Shriners), Medical Care team, Making bookmarks on a loom, Mexican dancing, Ninja 605 and Pupusas!
It would be fun to teach students how to play Pickleball, or make a tie-blanket! We don't have anything with wood-working? Or maybe you have a passion for keeping the outdoors clean and want to take a group of students around the school to clean up the area.
We will help supply the materials needed! We need you to help make this successful. Please complete the link below! If you need a paper copy, let us know!
Please consider joining us for this fabulous day!

Good evening Wildcat Families-
We have a good start on our May 21st Cultural Day for the Rosa Parks students. However, we need several more adults to help out. We are looking for parents/grandparents/community members to volunteer two or four hours on May 21st. During the two hour sessions, you will share your passion with a small group of students. The day will look like this...
8:30-10:30 Session 1
10:45-11:45 LUNCH
12:00-2:00 Session 2
We can have more than one person sharing the same topic because no one does it the same way! Some ideas of what others have signed up for are yoga, hot yoga, learning about pipe organs, house planting, cake pops and donuts, puzzles, friendship bracelet making, basketball at the YMCA, canvas painting, 3D printing, camping, hiking at Good Earth State Park, Cricuting for t-shirts, Comfort bags and soccer fun! Other ideas could be papusa making, gaming, drumming, cookie decorating, chess, games, disk golf, tennis, sewing, science experiments, wood working, touring interesting businesses, are just a few things that come to mind! I know we have some very talented parents and grandparents out there, now is your opportunity to share with a group of students!
Thank you for considering to help out! The link is at the top and the bottom of this email!
