All of the Pettigrew 5th grade classrooms were transformed into hospital operation rooms. Students are learning about order of operations in math and it was the perfect opportunity to conduct surgery on their patients that had various problems. Students also wrote an OUCH story and practiced text features by giving patients the correct prescription. It was a great day to be a 5th grade surgeon!
