At Patrick Henry, we have a group of 65 8th grade leaders that go above and beyond. They are the WEB Leaders. WEB stands for Where Everyone Belongs. WEB Leaders apply for this responsibility during the Spring of 7th grade, go through training in the summer and are assigned to a 6th grade PRO classroom. Once a month, WEB leaders lead activities in their assigned 6th grade PRO. Recently, WEB leaders led an activity that focused on teamwork and working together. 6th grade students had to stack cups in a pyramid using strings that were attached to rubber bands. 6th graders found it challenging but succeeded by encouraging and communicating with each other. WEB Leaders develop their leadership abilities and form positive relationships with 6th graders throughout the year. Thank you, WEB Leaders!
