Keep your students fueled to learn! SFSD is no longer able to offer free meals to all students. Now is a great time to add money to their My School Bucks account. Or, for families with qualifying income, it is important to fill out the Free/Reduced Meal application! Log on to the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus to apply! If you have questions or need help filling out the application please call 605-367-6180. We are happy to help! Please note: if your student does not have a free/reduced lunch application on file, you will be charged full price for breakfast and lunch starting the first day of school. Thank you!

Students/Families who need assistance with purchasing the necessary school supplies for a successful school year may consider attending Project SOS. The first day of classes for SFSD is Thursday, August 25, 2022.

We had a clap out for our AMAZING 5th graders today! The halls were lined with students cheering & celebrating our 5th graders going off to middle school next year! <3

We have been SO blessed with amazing partners & volunteers this year! We'd like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to First Presbyterian for donating awesome books for our 4th & 5th graders & for also donating a TON of extra books for our kiddos! & another HUGE THANK YOU to the Promising Futures Foundation for donating books for all of our Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd graders!! The kids were SO excited to pick out their books today!

5TH GRADERS! Tomorrow is the day! ALL 5th graders must be to school BEFORE 6:30am. Buses will leave AT 6:30am, no later! DON'T FORGET! - Tennis Shoes - 5th Grade Field Trip Shirt (Provided by school) - Drawstring bag (Provided by school) - Water Bottle - NO electronics! Please leave these at home! It's going to be a GREAT time & we can't wait!!

CONGRATULATIONS to those who participated in Girls on the Run this year! They had their 5k this weekend & they all did SO well! Way to go, girls! We're so proud of all of you!

WHAT. A. TURNOUT! Bingo night was a HUGE success thanks to ALL of you!! Thank you for coming out with your families & playing bingo with us! We're so happy to be able to have these in-person events again & enjoyed seeing everyone come together for some fun! We hope you all had a great time! A huge thank you to the PTA for putting on this event & for ALL the amazing volunteers who showed up to help things run smoothly!

How awesome is this?! A group of 5th grade friends came up with the idea to dress like their specials teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week! What a fun idea!
