The competitive cheer season is reaching its peak, and the Patriot ladies are hitting their groove right on time. They started off their season with choreography camp in July, and and had their first competition in Aberdeen, placing 5th for cheer. The team has a lot of leadership from the upper grade levels, namely senior Adeline Theophilus, who is a team captain.
Coach Selberg says that the key to the team's success will be working together to clean up the rest of their routine before state, and to keep uplifting themselves and making the best of the last few competitions they get to have with their seniors. The team has really come together as a unit, bonding over team dinners and at competitions.
Senior Day is Monday, October 7th at the Pentagon and the state competition will take place October 25th - 26th at The Monument in Rapid City. Good luck to the girls and their coaches as they look to finish the season strong!
