5th graders had two opportunities recently to explore the Career Cafe recently! JLG Architects and Second Judicial Circuit Court Judge Jon Sogn visited John Harris Elementary to show students what their careers entail.
JLG Architects worked with students to show them how architects build blueprints, the planning process, and how a project comes to life.
Judge Sogn came to talk about his career in law. The students had the opportunity to practice with a mock trial based on the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. They had to decide if Goldie was guilty of breaking and entering!
