Students in Mrs. Pierson's 4th grade class had a book tasting event! The event was possible thanks to a John Harris Elementary PTO grant that was awarded to Mrs. Pierson. At the event, students were introduced to new genres and choices of books. Students explored realistic fiction, mysteries, historical fiction, biographies, humor, adventure, poetry, fairy tales, and science fiction. Students then were able to read parts of a book, rate the books, and discuss books!
