In reading, K02 students have been busy learning high-frequency words and letter names using playdoh, puzzles, wikki-stix, and other fun activities! We have been practicing independent reading and have built our stamina up to 10 minutes! In math we are counting sides and vertices of 2-D shapes and are creating 2-D shapes using geoboards, pattern blocks, and playdoh.
In K06, students have been working on their shapes, the shapes station is a popular one for our friends - they love creating shapes with different materials!
