About Edu:
Born and raised in Cochabamba, Bolivia, Eduardo Mendoza is a multi-instrumentalist performer, cultural ambassador, and educator. Edu is known for performing multiple genres with a twist by taking advantage of his native instruments. During his undergraduate career at Northern State University, Edu has been a Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation Scholar for three consecutive years and has been cultivating his passion for Latin music ever since. Edu is well known in the state of South Dakota for hosting Bolivian music and culture presentations in public schools as a part of his cultural project “My Roots”. Edu is the new music teacher at Laura B. Anderson Elementary in Sioux Falls, SD.
About Gabriel:
Gabriel Michael is an independent musician - guitarist, singer, songwriter, and founding member of the band Funk-UH-Fried. His solo performances inlcude a mix of americana, acoustic rock, blues, funk, and soul, accompanied by acoustic guitar, electric guitar, a looper pedal, and a melodica. Gabriel lived in Ecuador for ten years, returning to the United States around 2019. In 2022 he and his wife welcomed their first child into the world. He works hard to make music his primary source of income, happily spending the rest of his time with his family.
