🌟 What an impressive showing for our 4th and 5th graders at the Festival of Champions Tournament! 🌟
What an incredible journey these past seven weeks have been. This past Saturday, our players brought every bit of heart, teamwork, and perseverance they’ve practiced to the field — and it showed! ⚽
From battling back from two goals down to tie our final group match and secure a spot in the championship game, to showing resilience, sportsmanship, and a willingness to learn — our team truly embodied what this program is all about.
We finished with two wins, one draw, and a hard-fought loss in the final, earning second place and a ton of pride. 🥈 The lessons learned and memories made will last far beyond Saturday.
👏 Huge shoutout to Kylie, Devon, Denise, Kayla, Kathy, and Aaron — you’ve been amazing!
And thank you to Jon and Lizzie for keeping things grounded and strong.
💙 Thank you, Hawthorne! What a season!

🥶 When it’s just a little too chilly to head outside (and not everyone has their winter coat yet), we bring the fun indoors!
Our early childhood students turned the lunchroom into a tricycle racetrack — and a few grown-ups couldn’t resist joining the fun too! 😄❤️

Hawthorne 5th Grade Students wrapped up an exciting adventure with the Volume City Project! They designed their own buildings and put their math skills to work by calculating volume using the formula: Volume = length × width × height.
It’s amazing to see creativity and math come together as students built their cities block by block. Great job, future architects and mathematicians!

Early Childhood — “Where caring hearts grow and great friendships begin.”
This little one showed such a big heart! 💖 She noticed her friend was feeling sad and went over to comfort her with kindness and care. Moments like these remind us that even the smallest friends can show the biggest compassion.
