Yesterday actors from the Dakota Academy of Performing Arts at the Washington Pavilion came and performed.  A NEW NORM is a brand new musical by Luke Tatge, based on the children’s book A NEW NORM by Tom Roberts. It is about coping with anxiety, depression, grief, anger, doubt, shame, fear, and more - and provides encouragement that there is hope and help available.  It was a brief 30 minute performance followed by a discussion led by a facilitator. During this discussion, students had the chance to voice their thoughts and opinions about the show and the issues it raises.
