Summer is here, the kids are home, now what?? It’s amazing how quickly kids run out of things to do and are saying “I’m bored!”  Here are a few fun things to do around Sioux Falls. Watch for more ideas in the coming weeks!

*Go to the pool. Sioux Falls Park and Recreation has pool passes at free or reduced cost if you qualify. 

*Hike the recreation trails. No bikes needed. Hike the trails and stop at some fun parks along the way.  Did you know that the bike trails are more than 29 miles long?  

*Check out the libraries. There’s fun activities all summer long. More information was sent home with your student this week. 

*Visit the Sculpture Walk downtown. There are 50 displays throughout downtown. It also includes the Arc of Dreams.

*Visit the Washington Pavilion on June 3rd for Free First Friday. Every first Friday of the month the Washington Pavilion is free from 5-8pm. Check in at the Box Office when you arrive to gain admission and receive your wristband. Children 12 and under must be with an adult.

*Visit Sertoma Park and The Outdoor Campus. There’s no shortage of FUN, FREE activities.
