Winter is coming—time to prepare! ❄️
Be sure to check out the Late Start schedule for the CTE Academy. Our schedule differs from the home high schools, so it’s important for students to know exactly where to be when a late start is called!
If the Sioux Falls School District announces a late start this winter, this schedule will be shared again as a reminder!
In the event of a Remote Learning Day, students are required to log into Canvas and complete the assignments posted by their teachers. Stay ready and stay on track!

Students from the Engineering and CyberAcademy had the opportunity to tour the Secure Enterprise Asset Management (SEAM) facility, gaining valuable insights into sustainable technology practices.
SEAM specializes in managing the proper disposal of electronics once they’ve reached the end of their service life for local businesses. The company ensures devices are responsibly reused, raw materials are recycled, and electronic waste stays out of landfills.
A big thank you to SEAM for hosting an informative and engaging tour, showcasing the importance of environmental responsibility in the tech industry!

Our Intro to Autobody students are hard at work, each mastering a different stage of the process:
Primer Application: Some students are focused on applying the final coat of primer, ensuring a smooth and even surface for painting.
Base Coat: Others are skillfully adding the base coat to their panels, creating the perfect foundation for a stunning finish.
Clear Coat: A third group is applying the clear coat, giving their panels a professional-grade shine and protection.
Everyone is doing an amazing job at their respective stages—great work, team! 🚗🎨🔧
