Cleveland Cubs are doing a ROARing job with fundraising for playground equipment! In the first week of fundraising, the Cleveland Cubs earned a total amount of $4,028! We are already so close to our Cleveland goal of $5,000 as a school and we have 3 weeks of fundraising left! So, keep knocking on those doors, asking friends and family for donations because the Cleveland Cubs can do anything they set their minds to! Just think of what we can buy for our playground with all of this money! Keep working hard! Here is an example of a Facebook post that we made for you to copy and edit for your child to help spread the word online about our fundraiser. When your child collects donations, they will go in drawings to win prizes! Hello family and friends! _________ is collecting donations for her school's Fun Run Fundraiser! Cleveland Elementary is hosting a Fun Run Fundraiser to raise money for new playground equipment! All donations go directly to Cleveland school! You could donate by cash, check, or Venmo! Third grade students at Cleveland have been learning about how an organism's’ traits adapt to their environment. They studied giraffes to see how they collect food from high up and down low. As biomimicry scientists, the students used the engineering design process to make RoboGrazer that could simulate what giraffes do to get rid of an invasive plant. Students planned, built, tested, and evaluated their RoboGrazer to make it the best it could be!
Plans are in the works for SFSD students and staff to bring electronic devices home over the weekend in the event that winter weather presents challenges on Monday. Refresh your memory now about the new remote learning plan by using the QR code on the image. We'll keep you posted if there are any schedule changes for Monday.

In 402 the team "Read" won first place with 11 points. Their members were Finley, Awan, Mason, Aizien and Bentley K.
The team "Sltherin" won second place with 8 points. Their members were Alakiir, Callen, Bently G. and Henry.
In 302, the team "Heart Girls" won first place with 20 points. Their members were Rilynn, Alani (absent today), Aspen and Aleah.
The team "Sweat" won second place with 4 points. Their members were Abato, Yener, Ephraim, Isaiah and Sam.
