This past weekend at the Cleveland soccer league, Cubs discussed the word "encourage." What do you think it means to be encouraging? It means to give support, confidence, or hope to someone. Cubs practiced encouraging their teammates while learning soccer skills. Try encouraging a friend today. Cheer them on when they catch a football at recess or score a goal in soccer. Give them support when they are persevering through a challenging math problem. Help them be hopeful for their future if they are going through a tough time. If you feel encouraged by someone today, let them know how that encouragement feels!
