This course prepares students to provide basic emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients. Hands-on patient care practice during Saturday morning skill labs is held once a month. You can witness a variety of people who work in emergency medicine during ten hours of observation. Students will be required to complete the psychomotor skills test and computer-based test to earn their NREMT certification.

Biomed students investigate, analyze, and document evidence to determine the cause of death of our patient, Anna Garcia. Students explore a range of careers in biomedical sciences as they learn content in the context of real-world, hands-on activities, projects, and problems used in biology, research, and medicine.
