Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds. Frequent bending, hand-eye coordination, mind-eye coordination, hearing, stooping, speaking, walking, removing, reaching and grasping are required. Ability to drive a vehicle is required. Post-offer drug screening and physical (funded by the District) required prior to starting position.

Other Requirements

Valid South Dakota driver’s license and proof of insurance. Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Essential Functions & Duties

1. Loads and unloads food and supplies.
2. Drives truck to deliver food and supplies, or fill with fuel.
3. Assists with set-up of serving line; serves food.
4. Gathers dirty trays, containers and garbage.
5. Dumps garbage barrels, flattens boxes, transfers dirty items to dish room, and sanitizes truck.
6. Keeps truck filled with fuel.
7. Adheres to District guidelines.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Climatic Environment - Inside and Outside

Occasionally subjected to cold below 32 degrees.

Hazards

Caution required to avoid potential for burns. Continuously wear special clothing.
