Education Level

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or an associate's degree with related experience.

Experience Required

Experience leading individuals and groups in achieving departmental and agency goals. Experience in developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships. Experience working in team environments and managing individuals.

Physical Requirements

Hand-eye/mind-eye coordination, hearing; intermittent filing, grasping, holding, indexing, inserting, keyboarding, repetitive use of wrists, hands and fingers, opening, reaching, removing, scheduling, sitting, sorting, speaking, stamping, standing, stapling, stooping, typing, walking, and writing.

Other Requirements

Detail, goal, and team-oriented with high-energy, strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Candidate must be a proven self-starter with the ability to lead an initiative.

Essential Function & Duties

The Program Operations & Excellence Manager collaborates with all stakeholders in the development, implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement of the CLC model, ensuring the highest standards of operations and excellence are met.

  1. Build and maintain relationships with Lead Agencies.

  2. Take a team approach to developing and maintaining CLC standards of excellence.

  3. Provide support to Lead Agencies in daily operations of the CLC model. 

  4. Conduct formal and informal site visits to all CLC locations.

  5. Collaborate with Lead Agency to complete annual site assessment based on CLC-approved rubric.

  6. Collaborate with Lead Agency to establish Site Development Plans based on annual assessments.

  7. Conduct an annual survey of parents, school administration/personnel, and students at each operating site and work with Executive Director to provide a detailed report of results.

  8. Develop a strategic plan to coordinate site visits, assessments, training, surveys, and other initiatives related to program excellence.

  9. Oversee the Training Support Specialist and aid in developing and hosting the training and onboarding education of CLC Lead Agency and Sioux Falls School District staff.

  10. Oversee the Employment Specialist who will provide support to Lead Agencies in filling daily staffing vacancies.

  11. Oversee the Data Specialist position in the input, extraction, and analysis of various points of data.  

  12. Maintain records of all short and long assessments (Informal and Formal), reports, surveys, and evaluations.

  13. Assist with the coordination and development of policies and procedures.

  14. Provide a quarterly report on program excellence indicators.

  15. Take part in opportunities for professional development at the local, regional, and/or state level; attend local meetings and training for parent involvement activities; share ideas and experiences with school or district staff, leadership team, and/or other parent professionals.

  16. Perform any and all duties as assigned.

  17. Successfully advances CLC initiatives.
